Tell us about the "Usual Day" project. How did this idea come about?
I am responsible for the All-Russian Loyalty Program of the Blood Service at our station. As part of the implementation of the register, the cinema was chosen. Irkutsk "NewCinema" agreed very easily and with great desire to participate in our program. The idea came up not only to make nice gifts to donors in the form of tickets and discounts, but also to show visitors in cinema some social commercials dedicated to donation. Perhaps one of the viewers will decide to become a donor. The cinema supported this idea. People of all ages, beliefs, education and lifestyle go to the cinema. I wanted to make a project that could reach everyone and carry the idea of donation as an integral part of the life of a modern person. Donated blood is needed every day, and therefore every day is the right moment to become a donor. At first we wanted to make one clip, but it would be very difficult to reveal the idea of our project in one short 30-second. Therefore, it was decided to split the project into seven parts - seven short videos, each of which will be dedicated to one of the days of the week, "an ordinary day", and the main characters are successful people. There is a room for blood donation in every day of the week and in the life of a person, even the busiest. This is not unusual. Seven images of successful people in their field were chosen - a businessman, a fitness trainer, a designer, a student, a showman, a couple in love and a successful actor. All these people are our fellow countrymen and donors, and they really are an example for some of the audience. Thanks to the project, we got a collective image of a successful modern person, multifaceted, unique. Each viewer will definitely find something familiar, gain confidence in the character and blood donation will open a little differently - as a guarantee of success and gaining inner harmony. Donation is the key to success.
How was the project implemented? Were there any difficulties, how did you manage them?
A large number of characters and locations were involved in the project. It was difficult to fit everyone’s schedule, to arrange the logistics and arrange shooting in the shortest possible time. We also faced formal problems - obtaining approvals to shoot. In general, work on a project is an incredibly exciting process, so all difficulties were overcome relatively easily, the final goal was too desirable. Of course, we had a great team - the film crew, the characters, the station staff, the administration of the institutions - everyone worked together, "on the same page" moved towards a common goal.
What profit did the project bring?
Thanks to the project, we realized that our video can be shown not only in cinemas, but also in educational institutions, enterprises and even on interactive screens on the streets of the city. As a result, we received a universal tool for promoting blood donation and a healthy lifestyle. It will be relevant every day and for everyone.
And our traditional question: what would you wish to donors and people, who are going to join donor program?
I wish to be yourself, listen to your heart, desires, dreams and move towards your fulfillment. Be honest with yourself, be able to feel someone else's pain and enjoy the success of others. Share emotions, knowledge, be a worthy example - and then the world around you will sparkle with different colors. Donation is wonderful, it is one of the worthy ways of self-expression. Be with us in the donor movement and may you and your loved ones, relatives be healthy and happy.
