For public councils

The blood service interacts with authorities in all regions of Russia. Municipal and regional authorities help to develop socially significant initiatives.

IN SUPPORT OF THE DONOR MOVEMENT, SPECIAL PUBLIC COUNCILS FOR DONORS, ARE SET UP UNDER REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIONS , WHICH INCLUDE, IN ADDITION TO REPRESENTATIVES OF THE BLOOD SERVICE, LOCAL NGOS, BUSINESSES AND VOLUNTEER INITIATIVE GROUPS.

Their task is to help in organizing and participating in activities to develop voluntary blood donation and its components. Members of the Public Council often set a personal example and themselves become donors of blood.

The beginning of the formation of the Public Council in the region is, as a rule, an event in the format of a round table that is initiated by the Blood Service with the support of the administration of the region. The resolution adopted at the end of the round table is the basis for the further activities of the Public Councils.
