The game dedicated to the donation of blood and its components was designed by volunteer movement and manufactured for the first time. It has no analogues. Game brings fun, help to communicate, participants use special decks of cards, but it also gain knowledge about donation, organization of the donor movement and volunteering.
The aim of the game is to replenish capital’s banks in medical institutions by collecting the required number of cards of certain blood group according to the “needs” of the Blood Service, to involve the “donors” in regular donations. To successfully achieve the goal, you should have knowledge of donation, preparation for blood donation, donation procedure, tasks and opportunities of the volunteer donor movement.
“The “Moskovskiy donor” board game will be available to the donor movement managers, non-profit organizations, initiative groups, the Blood Service and the donors. The game will be used as an entertaining part at blood donation events, at educational and leisure activities of the donor movement” - Elena Stefanyuk, director of the National Foundation for Health Development, deputy head of the Coordination Center for Blood Donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The board game “Moskovskiy donor” will be shown at the practices conference of the donor movement “Dvizheniye zhizni” on June 14, 2019, on World Blood Donor Day, in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. Each participant of the conference will receive the game as a part of the gifted package.
