On October 14, a decision to support the projects of 2,128 organizations was made. They will obtain 4 billion 350 million rubles grant in total. Non-profit organizations from all regions of the country applied for presidential grants: 9,073 projects from 7,846 non-profit organizations were received. The leading grant direction by the number of submitted projects in this competition was: “Protecting the health of citizens, promoting a healthy lifestyle” - 354 projects worth 548 million rubles. And one of the winners in this direction was the National Fund for Health Development with the project #ДОНОРСТВОКРОВИРОССИИ (Blood donation in Russia).
The project is dedicated to improve work with donors through the modernization of current models for attracting donor staff, the development and implementation of ready-made solutions for the development of regular free donation in the activities of blood donation organizers.
“Within the project, current problems of donation, motivational characteristics of donors will be studied, an independent assessment of the conditions quality in the institutions of the Blood Service will be carried out. Ready-made solutions will be developed in the pilot regions: a regional data of informational and motivational materials for donation promotion, recruitment of new donors and retention of existing ones. We thank all partners and friends for their support and are actively preparing for the implementation of such a large-scale project” - Elena Stefanyuk, director of the National Fund for Health Development, deputy head of the Coordination Center for Blood Donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
By the results of the project, the Blood Service institutions will get new resources to improve work with donors and find systematic application in practice, increase volunteer’s loyalty and satisfy donors' request for improving the quality, including receiving more information and motivation. The project will expand the practice of systemic support for donors, taking into account every man’s need.
