A list of information and methodological materials and tools will be tested in a series of donor activities to replenish regional blood banks in seven regions of Russia: Moscow city, the republics of Crimea, Altai; Krasnodar, Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories, Sverdlovsk region. As part of the project, the board game "Russian Donor" is being developed. It will be sent to all 85 regions of Russia. Discussion and training communication platforms for participants in the donor movement will also be held in the regions where the project is implemented.
“The relevance of updating and creating new model solutions and tools for the organizers of the donor movement today is as high as ever. The task of increasing the life expectancy of Russians was given to the Russian medicine, as a part of the national project “Healthcare”. The role of donation under these conditions is certainly increasing. In special cases, it is donor blood and its components that are the key to preserving and saving lives” - Elena Stefanyuk, director of the National Fund for Health Development, deputy head of the Coordination Center for Blood Donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
To prepare and conduct a series of donor campaigns, the organizers of the donor movement can also take advantage from the information and methodological resources already developed by the National Health Development Fund: an online creation tool for the donor campaign posters, announcements for social networks, thank you letters to partners and volunteers; a series for mass media and bloggers “I talk about donation”, video tutorials “Responsible regular donation of blood and its components: how to become a blood donor, how to become a donor of blood components”, “How to organize a donor action. Preservation of donor health”; infographics about the donation of blood components, the results of sociological studies, materials of the DonorLab distance learning platform.
