During the first launch of application on device after authorization, the form for the initial selection of a city for setting filters in the section "Blood Service Institutions" is displayed. Also information on the permissible number of blood donations per year has been added, with the calculation of the possible date of the next donation.
If the Blood Service institution sets up a withdrawal from the donor function in the user profile, the “Withdrawal” button will be highlighted in red. Adding made earlier donations by hand has become easier thanks to the implemented "Past Donations" section.
The ability to select quickly the date and month has been added, while planning a donation in the calendar. To search for institutions that have the technical ability * to provide a 20-digit donation code, a corresponding search criterion has been added to the "Search for institutions of the Blood Service" section.
“The development team has also updated the virtual user rewards system. Now the section consists of two parts: "My titles" and "My awards", and the donor will be able to share his achievements with friends on social networks. The Donor Sapiens section has been supplemented with new business partners of the Blood Service and makes it possible to activate special offers in the application without the need for an additional visit of the Loyalty Program web portal” – from the press release.

For reference: The "Blood Service" mobile application, developed in 2017 as part of the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Voluntary Blood Donation and its Components, is the first and only application for donors that has collected services for planning their donations, obtaining information on the results of medical and laboratory examinations, online consultation of specialists from the Blood Service.
