Blood donation was held with the help of the brigade from the Center of blood of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia, whose people have arrived at the airport with all necessary equipment. Alexander Velichko, head of theDepartment for promotion of blood donation of FMBA Center of blood said the donors were feeling well after donation:
Every year the number of participants in blood donation increases. Within 2 days of donation campaign 100 liters 350 ml of blood was donated! The staff of the International Airport Sheremetyevo continue to demonstrate high levels of physical fitness and social activity.
Staff of the Information Service, the Center for Quality, Environmental and Occupational Safety, Logistics Service, Directorate of Information Technology participated with willingness and enthusiasm in the campaign. It was a pleasant surprise that among those who came to donate blood were employees of Linear Control of Internal Affairs in Transport and "Aeroflot".
It is impossible to enumerate the entire list of 260 people who came to the blood donation point. But it is possible to thank them. Thank you very much, dear donors!
Traditionally part of the funds received by donors will be transferred to a charity foundation called "Give Life". We thank those who, despite the fact that they could not donate blood, supported their colleagues and made a cash donation.
