LG presented healthy lifestyle and social responsibility policy to the best participants of the forum “Seliger-2011” in Seoul

Since its foundation in 1958 LG Electronics has always paid special attention to corporate social responsibility in three main areas: healthcare, environmental protection and fighting poverty. The company’s headquarters distinguishes the project “Corporate volunteering in blood donation” of the Russian office, the successful realization of which has made for spreading the program in other regions. Within the framework of Seoul study course 10 best participants of other sessions: “Art-parade”, “Innovations and technical art”, “Entrepreneurship” – were able to see how important it is for the company to care about those in need of help.

An illustrative example of educational program in the area of healthy lifestyle and environmental protection for the participants of the training was a tour in a hall of “LG research achievements” founded in 1987 to teach children and students in playing form the importance of research achievements maintaining comfort and sustainable development of our life. It is important to note that this program for schoolchildren is carried out absolutely free within the framework of LG social responsibility. The theme galleries of the hall show both 3D animation and pieces of robotics, biotechnologies, energetics and digital technologies.

The study course in Korea is the third part of the program. Earlier the courses took place at the Center LGE MC Russia Lab in Saint-Petersburg, at LG plant in Moscow area and at the Academy of air conditioning and energy-saving technologies in Moscow.
