Procedures for financing promotion of Blood Service approved

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed a decision approving the list of organizations and the procedure for providing them with subsidies and equipment for procurement, processing, storing and safety of donor blood and its components, informs Tuesday the RF Government website.

According to the document the new equipment will be provided to 13 medical institutions, including A.V. Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery in Moscow, P.A. Gertsen Research Institute of Oncology in Moscow and the St. Petersburg I.I. Mechnikov State Medical Academy.
Another 11 subjects will get computers and software for implementation of measures directed on Blood Service’s promotion. The subjects include Altai, Krasnodar, Khabarovsk territories, Belgorod, Vologda, Kemerovo, Moscow, Samara, Sverdlovsk regions, Bashkortostan and Karachai-Cherkess.
Federal Medical-Biological Agency is in charge for purchasing and distribution of the equipment.
