Students of Tyumen Institute of Law, Economics and Management donated blood
The mobile blood transfusion station worked on March 15 at the building of the Tyumen State University. This is the fourth time the campaign of mobile blood donation takes place in Tyumen. The students and professors of the Law, Economics and Management Institute donated blood.

According to the supervisor of voluntary movement of mobile blood donation Maria Mitina, not only students and professors donate blood, but other people as well, wishing to help.

Of course, we accept them, because the more the better. All is needed a passport and to be a Russian citizen,

she explained.

Maria Mitina said that the first time the campaign was held in 2007, but then was suspended for the time being. It has become regular since 2010 and has been held every six months. Next time the mobile blood transfusion stations will be at work in autumn of 2012.

Usually we see quite high interest in blood donation. Each time the number of people who come to donate blood varies from 80 to 100. And it doesn’t matter where the campaign takes place. The mobile station worked even at the administration and the number of people was almost the same. Sometimes there are even more people wanting to give blood, but the time of station’s work is limited, so not everyone have time to donate blood,

she said.
