In each city visited by the “Train of innovations and good deeds” the Russian Ministry for Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia initiated by LG Electronics will hold donor days. The Days will be participated by students, representatives of youth organizations and the staff of “Eldorado” company – an LG’s partner in the field of blood donorship. In addition, Tatyana Shakhnes, PR manager of LG Electronics in Russia and a member of Coordination Council for donorship of the Public Chamber of RF will give informative lectures on corporate volunteering in blood donation.
The project “Train of innovations and good deeds” was developed to promote innovative ideas in different spheres of life. “Train of innovations and good deeds” is a continuation of the project “Train of young people” which started for the first time in 2009 and is held annually. Each year the project is dedicated to an important and topical subject. In 2012, the essential subject is blood donation, that’s why this year the project was named “Train of innovations and good deeds”.
From 1 to 11 April the train will run between Russian cities of Moscow, Saransk, Ulyanovsk, capital of XXVII Summer World Student Games Kazan, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, future Olympic capital Sochi and Voronezh.
As star ambassadors of donorship the campaigns will be attended by famous Olympic Champions Dmitry Sautin, Larisa Ilchenko, Darya Shkurikhina, Irina Karavaeva, and World Champions Irina Stankina, Vladimir Mineev, Alexander Stetsurenko, and the Europe Champion Yuri Andronov. The participation of new star ambassadors has continued a good tradition started by LG Electronics to involve stars of show-business and sports in blood donorship. Such celebrated Russian athletes as Alexey Nemov, Tatyana Navka, Svetlana Khorkina, Irina Chachshina, Svetlana Masterkova, Natalia Rogozina have already become LG star ambassadors of blood donorship.
Representatives of youth organizations, students, employees of commercial organizations and ordinary people will become volunteers for donorship campaigns organized by the Russian Ministry for Health and Social Development and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia on initiative of LG Electronics. Employees of regional branches of “Eldorado” company, which is for the second year has been a business partner to LG Electronics in blood donation initiatives, will also join donorship days in Russian cities. Saransk regularly holds inter-regional specialized exhibition “Healthy nation – strong state”, in Volgograd the city administration each year holds the contest of innovative projects of social-economic development of Volgograd “Best innovations to Volgograd citizens” and Kazan implements a special project “Innovations in healthcare: strategic management”. A visit from the “Train of innovations and good deeds” has become a logical continuance of already started in the cities propaganda of healthy lifestyle among young people.
Besides, in each city students of leading institutions of higher education will have a chance to hear about corporate volunteering in blood donation.
