Donor Day was held at the N. I. Pirogov Russian National Medical Surgical Center on 28 August.
One of the oldest medical institutions in Russia, older than a century, organized the event to support its patients. Donors gave their blood from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor at the policlinic of Central Clinical Diagnostic Complex.
Experienced blood donors and those for the first time wanting to donate their blood to save people’s lives were invited to the event. Workers of the Center, their friends and patients’ relatives were invited as well.
