In October 2013, the motorists and bikers can show their social activism within the framework of the traditional federal event "Auto-MotoDonor". Every year, there are about 200,000 road accidents on the roads of Russia, and the sufferers often need a blood transfusion. Every road user is able to do his bit and change the situation by becoming a donor and by taking part in the federal event "Auto-MotoDonor."

The state program for developing voluntary blood donation
In 2008-2013 the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency have been conducting a large-scale program for the development of the Blood Service.
The Blood Service is developed along with constant improvements of the communication infrastructure.
