Deputy Director of the organization of emergency medical assistance and expert activity Health Ministry of Russia Natalia Markarian handed to representatives of the Blood Service parting words from the Minister of Health Veronika Igorevna Skvortsova.
Elena Yurievna Xavkina, The Deputy Head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency, told in her speech about results of work of Blood Service in 2013 and the main directions of activities for the nearest future. She also paid special attention to the development and maintenance of the uniform information base of blood and components donation, modernization and equipping of the institutions of the donorship with the latest equipment, as well as improve the quality of laboratory information system.
The plenary session also made Deputy Head of the Coordination Center for the organization, development and promotion of voluntary blood donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Elena Ivanovna Stefanyuk and chief physician of the industrial complex of the Blood Center of FMBA Russia Sofia Alexandrovna Golosova, which noted the importance of consolidation of efforts of institutions blood transfusion, non-profit organizations, businesses and donors in the framework of realization of the Program for developing voluntary blood donation.
Chief physician of the Novosibirsk blood center Konstantin Vasilyevich Halzov shared the successful experience of the Program of Blood Service at the regional level.
Importance of modern technologies of The Blood Service of the Russian Federation noted in his report Alexander Viktorovich Chechetkin, director of the Russian Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion FMBA of Russia.
Finale of the plenary session was the presentation of medals to representatives of companies, institutions and organizations active in promoting donor movement in the country.
There was a photo exhibition «Donation without Borders» in the framework of the event, which organized by the «Fund of Donors» with the support of the Blood Center of FMBA Russia and the Coordination Center for the organization , development and promotion of voluntary blood donation at the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation .
The official part of VI All-Russian Forum Blood Service were summed up the competition of professional skills.
The winners of the competition were:

Buryat Republican Blood Transfusion Station with competitive work «Blood donation as a norm of life».
2. Nomination «In the rhythm of the heart», the best presentation video project about blood transfusion.
Irkutsk Regional Blood Transfusion Station, competitive work «Station of the life».
3. Nomination «More donors - more to life», the best coverage of blood transfusion in the media.
Orenburg Regional Blood Transfusion Station, competitive work «Do Good!».
4. Nomination «Do not pass by», best visiting team.
Blood Center of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency with competitive work «No day without an our mobile team!».
5. Nomination «The Blood transfusion station -2013».
The best station of blood transfusion became Samara PSUC with the highest number of votes on the basis of online voting, held directly at the event.
Each participant of VI All-Russian Blood Service Forum made a general conclusion: the effective work of the Program for developing voluntary blood donation will be available only through joint efforts of everybody.
