Christmas eve is the time of summing up. From 15 to 30 December 2013 Institutes of the donorship of blood and components of Russia will organized festive events. There is an important element of the donor’s community — meeting donors with experts of the Institute of the donorship of blood and components in an informal setting. In the framework of the initiative The Blood Service will congratulate Honorable Blood donors: each of them saves a lot of people. They are heroes of Russia, the pride of our country!
Federal donor action «New year, the Blood Service!» will be broadcast on video-sharing website YouTube. Film crew of the channel prepares video-report about this action in several institutions of The Blood Service in different regions of the country. Also they acquaint viewers with the heroes of donor movement in Russia.

The state program for developing voluntary blood donation
In 2008-2013 the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Federal Medical-Biological Agency have been conducting a large-scale program for the development of the Blood Service.
The Blood Service is developed along with constant improvements of the communication infrastructure.
