Intermedservice Company actively supports blood donation development in the country. One of the Holding's traditional events is Donor's Day. This action supported by the Blood Centre of FMBA of Russia is carried out twice a year. On September 8, the Centre's specialists organized a mobile blood collection point in the Company's Moscow office. As a result of this action, 13 liters of blood was collected. After appropriate laboratory diagnostics at the Blood Centre of FMBA of Russia, components of donated blood will be passed over to the Federal Scientific and Clinical Centre of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after D. Rogachev. The Donor's Day is actively supported by Intermedservice employees, because the simple procedure of blood donation can save someone's life.
Blood donation is not only a voluntary act but also a donor’s health care one. Prior to the procedure, the specialists of the outreach team from the Blood Centre of FMBA of Russia make obligatory medical examination of the donors. This will allow donors to exclude risk factors and to make sure they themselves are in good health.
