It was for the first time that Donor's Day had been carried out in ACIG Group of Companies. A lot of employees had never been the donors before, but they entirely supported the initiative and suggested that such actions should be carried out on a regular basis.
The conditions of blood donation procedure were comfortable for the employees, the mobile blood collection point equipped right in the Company office building, where experienced transfusiologists were quick to collect blood donated by the donors.
According to doctors of the Blood Centre of FMBA of Russia, the donor aid in the contemporary world is very important: blood and its components can still not be replaced by any medical invention. Not only does corporate donorship allow people needing blood to be helped, but it also unites people for the common good.
Among the activities of ACIF Group of Companies there are a number of initiatives aimed at development of the health care system, the Donor's Day being the part of the Company's social responsibility policy.
