
The Head of FMBA of Russia Vladimir Uiba started with a greeting word to the members of Forum. He told about the latest progress in realization of Blood Service’s programme development, through which he noted the supply over 17000 units of high technological medicine equipment, connection of 140 regional and federal Blood Service’s objects, implementation of automated informational system for transfusion (AIST). The most perspective directions, according to the word of Vladimir Uiba, are improving of legislative and regulatory donation’s base, implementation of innovation technologies and creating a common database.
The Head of FMBA of Russia paid special attention to modernization of Blood Service in Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Vladimir Uiba underlined that their indicators of volunteer blood donation are really close to the European standards and they can exemplify for the rest regions of Russia.
The awarding ceremony of the All-Russian Competition of Professional Mastery - 2014 became the culmination of this meeting. During the autumn Blood service’s institutions from all territorial entities of the Russian Federation sent different presentations, videos, sob stories, impressive quantity and quality indecators, examples of various donor initiatives. Results of this competitions are:
The Republic of Tatarstan – nomination «Only human can»;
The Samara Region – nomination «Easy to help”;
The Irkutsk Region – nomination “It is time to act like an adult”;
Blood Centre FMBA Russia – nomination “More donors – more life”;
The Novosibirsk Region – nomination“Do not miss the chance”.
Also all of the memebers of the Blood Service Forum choosed the absolute winner of the competition by voting. The Republic of Mordovia got the majority of votes and became the winner.
