In 2015, the organizers of the event received a record number of application – 331 – from the representatives the educational institutions, the media, regional authorities and initiative groups from more than 50 regions of Russia.
This year, The Blood Center of FMBA of Russia became the winner in the «No One is Indifferent» nomination (for the promotion of blood donation among the young people and increased the participation of volunteers in the implementation of projects for donor blood ) with a unique in its scale project called «New Generation of Good» aimed at involving the youth in regular voluntary blood and its components donation as well as inclusion of all age groups – from preschoolers to young people of 25-30 years old.
Regular organization of the Sport Donor Days with REEBOK CROSSFIT has grown into a project to promote a healthy lifestyle. During the project implementation more than 300 sportsmen joined the donor movement.
The institution also focused its attention on creating the most favorable conditions for cadre donors. Only in 2015 it was conducted 18 thematic actions including “A Drop of Hope on the Last Saturday of the Summer”, “Donor Cinema”, “Positive Donation”, a series of quests called “Planet donation” and “Knowledge is a Power” lottery which increased number of donors among youth, as well as their motivation to regular blood donation.
Subject excursions in Blood Center of FMBA of Russia become more popular among pupils and students. During the tours the specialists of institution introduce to visitors the process of collection and storage of harvested blood. Including due to this, a new generation which is aware of the importance of regular blood is being formed by the institution.
Blood Center of FMBA of Russia offers cooperation to parent committees and student councils ready to support the formation of the young generation indifferent to the suffering of others..
