121 liters of blood were collected during the «Days of donors in PNRPU»

On the first day, the mobile team of Perm territory blood donor center worked with donors in the main building of “PNRPU”, on the second day in Cultural Center «Komplex».

«We are all a part of one society, a part of one big system and it’s important to take care not only of your health, but also of health of other people. Thanks to heads of «PNRPU» and to volunteers of «DobroVo» tradition of collective days of donation is reviving», – the chief doctor of State budgetary healthcare institution of «PNRPU» Samovolnikova Oksana said.

During the event 330 people wanted to donate blood, 270 of them became donors. It is important that 110 people donated blood for the first time! 121 liters of blood were collected.

«The modern rhythm of life demands multitasking. That is why we give students an opportunity to do good deeds without living university. The first blood donation event, which was 3 years ago, gave us an impulse for the future development in this sphere and now students and professors are interested in it and they are waiting for «Day of donor», – the head of the voluntary department of the united council of the students «DobroVo» Ekaterina Pankova said.

Apart from words of gratitude, sweets and smiles, all participants got souvenirs from «DobroVo».

Perm territory blood transfusion station expresses gratitude to the heads of «Perm National Research Polytechnic University» and to all participants for supporting the event.
